Eckhart Tolle underwent a profound inner transformation at age 29. It took him another 10 years to understand how he had gone from despair to self-realization, but this former Cambridge University researcher ultimately forged a deeply personal and eminently practical philosophy, which he outlined in his now-classic 1999 book, The Power of Now. An inspirational guide to spiritual enlightenment, this New York Times #1 bestseller contains the simple message that living in the now is the surest path to true happiness. Covering such topics as enlightened relationships, the creative use of the mind and the cycle of life, Tolle maintains that freeing ourselves from the obsessive mind is “the only true liberation” worth achieving.

Life is full of ups and downs and we need all the tools we can get our hands on to go with the flow of it. The Power of Now is definitely one of those tools--a very valuable one.

This book is an eye opener. It answered many questions that I personally had on why certain things are the way they are and how to view them in a different light. It has helped keep me in the "now" and control anxiety attacks and control stress. I read it when I tend to feel I am out of the "now". Thank You
