Books like Charlotte's Web seem to come around once in a blue moon. E.B. White’s classic tale of the true meaning of friendship and love, growing up and the courage to face the many challenges of life is one of those books that will make you fall in love with reading all over again.

The story of Wilbur, a humble pig whose life is saved twice (first by a young girl and then by his best friend, an outspoken spider named Charlotte who convinces everyone that he is “some pig!”) has been capturing the hearts and imaginations of millions of people of all ages since it was published in 1952. This is truly a classic and enjoyable for all ages. I read it when I was young and recently read again for a Children's Lit. class I took. I purchased this as a gift for a young girl in my daycare for Christmas. Highly recommend this book to others. ENJOY.

This book was the first book I ever got to read. If you get a chance read it. Do it,It will bring back some memorys . And some you wish you had. It is the perfect book for your child to understand. From this book I have writen my own childrens book. That is how much E.B. White has inspired me. I just wish I can become the writer that he was.
