In The Wishsong of Shannara, Jair and Brin Ohmsford vanquished the evil Mwellrets. Or so they thought. Now the 'Rets are back, and they're plotting anew, this time to find Paranor, the Druid's Keep, and claim its power for their own. To these ends, they have employed a mistress of the black arts—the Croton Witch. Joining his friends Kimber Boh and Cogline the Druid against the Witch, Jair discovers that his Wishsong lets him transform into other living creatures. But the power is seductive, and Jair is increasingly reluctant to return to his true form.
With this never-before-published adventure, Dark Wraith opens a whole new world of Shannara excitement—in fantastic graphic novel form! B&W illustrations by manga artist Edwin David.

People need to read what a book IS before buying it, apparently. All of these one-star reviews because the people who bought the book are ignorant is not fair to Terry Brooks or his true fans. Right at the top of the order page it says "GRAPHIC NOVEL." If you don't know what a graphic novel is, do some research and find out before ordering and being disappointed. For what it is, I enjoyed it immensely. It's always nice to see how a different artist views my favorite characters.

Piece of garbage. What is BOMC doing with this kind of book in their list anyway? I like Terry Brooks and have read all of his novels but this is not a book it a comic.

This book was a huge disapointment. When I got it Iwas looking forward to reading it but afterward was left disapointed. Nothing is resolved and I was left with many questions. This book is a waste of time and the paper it was printed on.

I love Terry Brooks' writings. I am a fan and continuously awaiting the next novel. The way he describes the characters and scenery is astounding. I was not expecting a comic book style story when I got Dark Wraith. Left me a little empty. Sorry. Just wasn't excited about the book.
