I too was expecting recipes that I could use. The sugar and carb counter info was helpful but the fast food recommendations was a lot about not much. Even that information was limited. Many of the foods/drinks listed are not available in my area so that wasn't much help. The online support is okay but again not much help unless you have time to watch videos.

I am enjoying both books, especially the Sugar and Carb Counter. It is helpful for the shopping in conjunction with the program. The Quick Meal defines the program and gives substitutions that for an easy start.I have done well on low carb diets before, and this one gives an explanation of why the sugar/carb ratio works well for losing weight. I have already been using the instructions given in the books to figure the sugar/carb ratios for recipes and foods in my pantry.

I was expecting some quick meal recipes. This book is just very big, colorful pictures of fast food recommendations (eat this, not that concept). Definitely a waste of money. Sugar and Carb Counter book has some useful information, but you can look at food packaging and get the same information.
